Peter's Birthday/A Concert for Virginia Tech: September 6, 2007
My birthday this year was really quite busy... check out the pie chart. I had a bunch of classes in a row, then a big lab, and then Dave Matthews had to go on ahead and foul everything up by deciding to hold a concert in support of VT that evening as well. Sheesh. Anyway, the concert was to be held in the football stadium so everybody could get tickets. However, seating was done in 4 general sections so they had a big swap meet on the drillfield to sort it all out. It was crazy.
	This is the line I was supposed to get in to trade out of my section and into the one I wanted. It was conspicuously longer than all the others...
And here's why. Nobody wanted to switch to our section. Oh well, no matter.
	Really: quite a lot of people.
Anyway, the concert was a good time and they did a great job of making a football venue into a passable music venue. In fact, here's the time-lapse video of the setup/takedown from hokiesports.com.

Coffeehouse: September 28, 2007
In no time flat, it was once again time for a coffeehouse. Here, the host, immediate past host, and a hanger-on discuss the upcoming event.
	The people (including a surprisingly large contingent from Main Campbell intent on stealing the spotlight) gradually trickled in.
Anyway, here's the rundown: Mitch began the show remarkably causully,
	John showed off his mad Rubik's cube skillz,
Cory wowed us all on the piano,
	Cas and Jess performed a skit,
MC wowed us with a grand medley of... stuff,
	Honors staffer Michael Blackwell even performed some stuff,
The Ladies were back in force,
	and Brad didn't wear shoes this time.
Only the most diehard of fans (read: not Main Campbell) stuck around after the second intermission.
	Julia took advantage of one of Elaine's pictures to demonstrate just how ticklish I am.
Apparently some of these people didn't realize just how much seating came available following the departure of MC.
	Towards the end of the show, Chris once again wowed us with his unconventional guitar stylings.
And as the coffeehouse degraded into an a capella rendition of Bohemian Rhapsody, we closed up shop until next time.
