Opener with ECU and College Gameday: September 1, 2007
This game was important because it was our first major school event in the semester after the shootings. ESPN decided to send the College Gameday crew here (which is kind of a big deal) to cover the relatively minor game as a show of support. There were lots of tributes, and I didn't get pictures. I did, however, manage to steal a picture of David's awesome sign he made. Get it? It's VT Football Coach Frank Beamer.

UNC: September 29, 2007
The UNC game was nothing short of absurd. In true HC spirits, a giant banana accompianied the bear to the game.
	And... this isn't a UNC picture. My bad. Anyway, check out how thrilled Mallory is to be here. Yeah, that's right, you can't untag yourself here, Mallory. Mallory, Mallory, Mallory, Mallory.
Now back to your regularly scheduled coverage of the Highty Tighties (in blue) doing the pregame show with help from band alumni (in maroon).
	Right, we should probably let the team onto the field if we're ever to start the game.
But before that: let's have a stealth bomber fly over... because our military just isn't spending enough money already.
	The weather was nice.
We won fairly handily, so there was much lifting of people in the typical counting-the-points fashion.
	For some reason they decided to have our Maroon Effect game versus an easy team... and during short sleeve weather. Oh well, now I at least have a LS orange t-shirt.
Here, Jeremy, Elaine, Erin, and I all put our left feet in in an attempt to show you what it's all about.
	Look, the Bear and Banana even made the big screen, and somebody (I think Elaine) had the presence of mind to take a picture.
Thursday Night with Boston College: October 25, 2007
Let's not talk about this.
Florida State: November 10, 2007
	This game was also cold and wet, but at least we won. Just look at how happy everybody is.
I think it's the first time we beat Florida State in... like, forever. So people naturally rushed the field despite a feeble request not to.
	But Julia wouldn't have been able to meet the Hokie Trooper if she hadn't so it was all worth it.
Hokies Thank the World/Miami Game: November 17, 2007
What are all of these people standing around for?
	Ahh, it's the Hokies Thank the World event. The Geography department and the GIS people in my department decided to get a bunch of people to stand around while a sattelite flew overhead and took a picture.
I think it came out fairly well. Take a look the full picture if you want to try to find us. WARNING: it's 50+ MB. Also, be sure to check out the time-lapse video. It's really cool, and really 30.1 MB in size. And that's all I have to say about that.
