Spring Break: Biking in the Great Dismal Swamp

We went biking in the Great Dismal Swamp. It is very flat there. The blue speck near the vanishing point of the road is over 4 miles away.

And here's Lake Drummond, one of only two natural lakes of any size in the state. It is also very dark and acidic from all of the eutrophication.

Spring Break: Hiking at Mount Pleasant

The Venture Crew always tries to plan their March activity to straddle the weekend between VT's spring break and the breaks of all the other Virginia schools one week later. This time, we went to Mount Pleasant.

However, it wasn't long before we were all back at college. We watched some MacGyver, and I discovered that the seasons I owned directly correlated to my room number. Nifty.

We had another version of the Mid-NerdFest Dance this semester. And I actually had a date. Naturally, I didn't take too many pictures. So if you want to see what kind of things happened, you can look at these pictures from the last one.

Later on, we had yet another coffeehouse at the freshman interview weekend coffeehouse. We had so many acts. It was really awesome, but hard to organize.
