What better way to spend a Monday with no math class then by going flying with your trusty former RA, Brad? Here, Brad works on the pre-flight checks on one of the Hokie Flying Club's planes, as his car sits nearby.

A few short minutes later, after refueling and doing a few other last-minute checks, we found ourselves sitting at the end of the Montgomery County Regional Airport's Runway, ready to take off.

Here's the view to the right out of the window, with Lane Stadium and the campus stretching out behind it.

Ooh, the campus from far away. We proceeded to fly south, over Radford and Claytor Lake, before turning back north for the journey back to the airport.

Here, we're approaching Christiansburg. Wal-Mart and the NRV Mall are off to the left, and you can see the majestic Smart Road Bridge off in the distance.

After our side trip down south, Brad and I took a loop over campus before lining up for final approach.

Woo, that was fun. So, here we are on final approach. Just for reference, the headquarters of the place I work over the summer is in this picture. See it, just to the left of the runway, right up against the treeline, on the road, in front of the condos. No? Trust me, then.
